Great and detailed explanations on the concept of maqasid. What interests me most is how Dr Jasser Auda applies systems approach and social theories to study Islamic laws. Indeed a great resource for researchers*This book is not for beginners unfortunately

An interesting and unique look at the world of Usool Al-Fiqh and Maqaasid Ash-Shariah, proposing new methods to deal with contemporary Fiqh issues. I'd recommend this for advanced students of knowledge who can read it critically.
