Alex C. Vick Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the Stealing Magic book, this is one of the most wanted Alex C. Vick author readers around the world.

This book is about Jax and Shannon two teenagers from different worlds and only one knowing the other exists, until she opens her eyes and discovers a whole new world. This book has a lot of action and quirkiness to it, young and old would appreciate this book because it opens up so much. I would say this book has the writing style of Pendragon, not the plot but the ability to draw its readers in!This book is geared toward teens and young adults, while I may convince myself I am still a kid!I am [...]

Great read for a tween, but not so challenging for anyone older than that. The story is very intreging, enjoyable for any age.

3.5 stars.Magic, mystery and a little bit of mayhem lie at the heart of this fun, middle grade adventure. Shannon is an ordinary Earth girl who loves to read and who wakes up one lazy afternoon to overhear two alien boys stealing magic from her garden. It’s a tale full of the wonders of magic, and the problems that follow when people break the rules. It’s also about loyalty and friendship and taking chances if that’s what it takes to save the world.Shannon may seem ordinary, but she’s fu [...]

I really enjoyed “Stealing Magic” by author Alex C Vick, even though YA/MG fantasy, isn’t usually one of my more preferred genres (don’t dislike it, just don’t generally gravitate). But I was drawn to the description and liked the descriptive, energetic writing style of the author I read in the sample, (the prologue is intriguing and the first chapter wastes no time getting right to it – something I really like), so I dove on in and read the whole thing almost straight through! I was [...]

One day, you discover yourself as having a magic and even could travel into a parallel dimension and could cast your own magic which sound awesome! I love Jax and Shannon character in this book, even though they are very young but they do know how to handle each of the situation in calming way and try to figure out what to do and how to do it. I really enjoy reading Stealing Magic and couldn't wait to read the next series.

A Good book for 4th, 5th, and 6th gradersI enjoyed this book but I felt it was a little to young for me personally. This was the reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 star rating. Now with that said I do feel upper elementary students would enjoy it. I have two grandchildren in that age group that would like this book and I will read the next two books also so I can recommend this series to they. Keep up the good work and I do look forward to reading your next book.

This was a pretty good read with fantasy and a little bit of a romantic vibe but very subtle. It’s definitely a good read for YA when my daughter gets older I’ll have her read it cause I know she’d enjoy it. It’s a cute short book

Jax and Darius live in world with magic and are sent out nightly along with other teens from their world to Terra, Earth to harvest the magic from the trees. While they are on Terra one night harvesting the magic they spot a girl about their age asleep in the garden behind her home. Darius being the one that likes to follow the rules informs Jax they have to leave before this girl wakes up and sees them. Now the reason they go to Terra at night to harvest the magic is because no one on Earth is [...]

This book was a unique book about parallel dimensions and magic. The author has lots of action and some great adventure in this book. The characters are easy to like and you want to help them save both worlds. I would love to read book 2. 4.5 starsWhat can I say about this book, “Stealing Magic” ?? First off, I can tell you that it is a fantastically- written and creative magical fantasy that is aimed at the Middle-Grade/Young-Adult crowd, and fans of this genre will love sinking their teeth into this one! It stands out to me in terms of originality, even if some elements are familiar. Ms. Vick has her own unique voice and writing style that makes it feel fresh and exciting. I definitely enjoyed her strong world-building and [...]

4.5 starsgreat action, well-written and very creative, “Stealing Magic” (The Legacy of Androva book one) from Alex C Vick must read for fans of novels such as “Harry Potter” series and maybe even “Percy Jackson”. This book is far less involved than those, but to me that is a good thing. It still “feels’ big and epic, with a varied cast of colorful characters and plenty of magic and thrills to go around. There are some familiar tropes here (as with most YA-MG fantasy/sci fi), howe [...]

I knew by the 20% mark that I would really love this book and it would go on my MG/YA favorites shelf, and I was right! I admit I had no real expectations when starting it, seeing as how I’d never read the author before and the description felt a bit “generic” to me. I was so immersed in this wonderful, fun book and impressed with the level of creativity that Alex Vick puts into “Stealing Magic”. I loved the characters and the energy Ms. Vick uses. Solid world building throughout, whic [...]

I will give this book 5 stars! “Stealing Magic” a fun, enchanting story you just want to dive into and stay lost in, and I finished it in two nights. It’s been so long since I’ve read something with such magical appeal that didn’t feel super cliché or something I’ve read a dozen times before. So rare in this genre! Alex C Vick has perfected the delicate balance of creating an imaginative and complex magical/alternate world that isn’t confusing or frustrating or overwhelming –esp [...]

"Stealing Magic” (The Legacy of Androva Book 1) is such an utterly charming story, one which I would have no hesitation having my children read. It is a “clean” Middle Grade/YA fantasy suitable for most ages, but it is definitely geared toward the younger crowd (11 on up, I’d say) who will flock to this adventure that pits several ‘magical’ youths against the forces of darkness. Alex Vick has a great way of writing in a believable manner with a voice that is authentically “tween” [...]
