Zet is the Indiana Jones geared for the younger generation. This well-written story is action-packed and full of lovely details describing the setting and culture of ancient Egypt. The author gives the reader plenty of possible suspects, but never reveals the true culprit until the end. Setting the story in this fascinating time is a great way to get children interested in a subject that many (not me) can find dull. History comes alive as Zet and Hui set about saving the Egyptian princess. My co [...]

Immediately, surprising and interesting events drew me into the story. It's lighthearted, yet tense. It's dramatic, and very interesting. "Mystery of the Egyptian Temple" is a great children's mystery. It introduces the young reader to lots of very interesting details of ancient Egypt. The plot follows the main characters throughout the book, and in and out of various uniquely ancient Egyptian situations. This story's quite an adventure that's a page turner because I absolutely want to know what [...]

An epic and absorbing historical fiction mystery thriller! Beautifully told, exciting and awesome story. This third and final book is one of the most savvy and outstanding in the trilogy. I enjoyed how Zet and Hui set out on this adventure together instead of the plot following the previous two books. It was fun to know more about Hui's character and see what a reliable and noble friend he is. Peters delivers a spine-tingling, superb and unforgettable tale readers will never forget. A mini-serie [...]

The Mystery of the Egyptian Temple is a great story for children, teens, as well as adults. I enjoyed the adventure of Zet and his friend. The story is full of twists, you just never know who you can trust. Zet and Hui investigate a kidnapping in a nicely presented old Egyptian environment with descriptions that make you feel like you are actually there. Very well done. Bonus point for the formatting of the ebook, it is nicely done and easily readable.I suggest this book to anyone who is up for [...]

He is helping to keep food on the table by spending his time keeping the dish stall open at the market. His sister Kat helps him while his Mother stays home with their little brother. When he is not at the stall, Zet is usually [...]

With no one to rely on except himself, he must use all his wits and quick thinking to solve the mystery and return the Princess. If [...]

A great read but potatoes came from America, so I'm pretty sure that's not what they were eating.A part of a series - I have not read the previous books. The good news is you don't have to have read the previous books in order to understand the characters. And the story drops a few hints of what happened before - enough to make you curious and look the previous titles up.A story of friendship, growing up, loyalty, duty, with enough funny twists and turns. A missing princess. A wrongly accused al [...]

More fun and living history with a mystery to solve! A peek into the lives of young folks in ancient Egypt, as well as their belief system. Ride along on the river in ancient craft, see the temple being built, and watch as two youngsters solve the mystery of the kidnappers amidst the tension and fear of getting caught and causing more trouble for the royal family. Excellent book to share!I got it for free in a LibraryThing Giveaway.
