My home is in the Dallas area, where I live with my husband I have two sons, one of which lives in the area, and the other in Los Angeles I love to read and write I like the way fiction builds bridges to other worlds which only my imagination can take me At a time when I was reading voraciously, but not getting exactly what I was yearning for, I started to write the kind of story I was searching for.

Catherine Sharp put together quite a tale in "Blood Lust". Our heros in her story are Nick Ryan and Mike Evans, two well-trained and hard working detectives in Los Angeles. The female main character is Claire Hunt. From these three characters, she has quite a story to tell.A killer has her in his sights and makes up his mind to practice on other women until he decides to finally take Claire as his own. Of course, in his deranged mind, his deep feelings represent love. The others are brutally mur [...]

A serial killer is loose and flight attendant Claire Hunt is questioned in connection to the first murder as she falls for Detective Nick Ryan. They begin an affair during the investigation. As the investigation continues signs point to Claire being intimately involved in the murders. Is she innocent as Nick hopes or such a good actress she can cover up her actions?I liked the mystery of the story. It was well planned out. It creeped me out as I read the murderer's thoughts. I did not have any i [...]

This is a real thriller. There was No way to guess who the killer is.Nick is a detective and retired SEAL. He and his partner are called to a very gruesome murder scene. It is obvious to everyone that this is one very sick psychopath. Claire is on the list of the last people the victim had contact with. She is a flight crew attendant on the plane that the poor woman travelled on.There was a man on the flight that gave Claire the creeps, so Nick checks him out. Then looks for another excuse to ca [...]

This is definitely a thriller. The killer's thoughts were not fun ones to read about. It was also hard to guess who the killer was. Then there is Claire, and her role in the killer's plot. Nick was a man in love and he fell hard for Claire. It was interesting to read the ending and to see how the author had everything fall into place. Claire's version of love might not be the same as the killers. I am giving this book a 4/5. I was given a copy to review, however all opinions are my own.

This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I didn't find out who the killer was until the very end. There was some very bizarre bad guys in it also which really added to the realism. I haven't read a book like this in a while but I think I might give them a chance again. I really enjoyed this one.

Too much sex.I'm a sucker for a really good police procedural. This could have been great, but in my opinion, there was just too much gratuitous sex ( coining a tired and overused cliche)I know these days every body wants to get on the nookie wagon, just not me.I didn't see the bad guy coming. It could have been so good
