This is a very detailed journal of the happenings during World War 2 in France. I knew I might be in trouble with this book when it required many pages before you even began explaining the translation, how to read the book, and the cast of characters. I gave it a chance and did read the whole thing. It was very dry, very detail oriented, and basically boring. Sorry. This is just an honest review.
