Re-read: 10.03.2017 MIGHT contain spoilers. I love the Compasses, though Braxton the most. I love how he is with Jessa Lebron; being everything she needs. I'm still sadden by Maximus finding his truemate, and I still hate Mischa (has since the beginning) and I specially hate Mischa with Maximus. Haaaaate it. I can't get rid of this damn dream of mine wanting Braxton and Jessa and Maximus together. There's no point in the dream, as I know how it all ends, but still's a damn dream. Considering my [...]

UNBELIEVABLE Jaymin Eve , yu have just created a whole new meaning of HIGH AND DRY.Really now,WTF!!!! I mean why would yu leave us at an ending like that. WHY???? I can't exactly comprehend the audacity of this cliffhanger. *sigh*Not much we can do now is there?Moving on to the book!I am an avid fantasy reader. And this book, make it this series has made me once again glad to love this fantastic genre. The appeal in this series isn't in its plot nor is it in its world. Its not something spectacul [...]

“I’m going to stop you right there, because the crazy train has already left the station and I think you missed your seat.” Continuing right where the first, Dragon Marked, left off, Jessa has to deal with the new revelation of her and her twin's unique marks, finding horrors hidden in a prison system that is showing itself more tricky and corrupt than anyone figured, come to terms with what the legends of her mark means and the uprising war potential with the old king. As strong as [...]

LOVE IT!I need the 3rd book, pronto. I need it, like yesterday. I adore this series, and I can not wait for the next one

4 1/2 starsOh my goodness, the way the first book ended, I had to dive right into this one! I'm absolutely in love with this series. It's been a really long time since I fell this hard for a series. Not since I fell in love with The Covenant series by Jennifer L Armentrout and The Psy-Changling series by Nalini Singh have I felt this way about a book series. This book picks up right where book 1 ended. Jessa finds herself fleeing to the marked sanctuary in Romania. She brings her quad friends but [...]

4.5 stars wow that ending i can't wait for book 3. Jessa and Braxton were amazing so excited that their relationship finally moved to the next level. I was so annoyed by Mischa she did some really stupid things i was kinda hoping she would have died so i wouldn't have to deal with her in book 3 she turned her back on her family and i am so done with her. I really want to see more of Maximus' mate in book 3 i feel like i didn't get to know her in this book and i'm hoping she and Jessa will become [...]

4.5 cliffhanger ending & as Layla so eloquently said about her twin"Holy shit. Dumbass alert. Seriously, someone needed to save us from her bleeding heart, they were playing her like a violin. And all of us had to pay now."& they're likely to be paying for it for the length of book 3. Conjecture: it be interesting to include the Dragon mate's POV in book 3

What a fantastic sequal! It's rare for me to like I sequal more than I liked its predecessor, but I definitely did with Dragon Mystics. Dragon Mystics starts where book one left off with Jessa, The Compasses, Mischa, and Grace running from Stratford to get Jessa and Mischa away from The Four who are hunting them because they are dragon marked. They are following directions Louis the sorcerer gave them to a secret sanctuary for the dragon marked. Now let me say I read this back in September. The [...]

Jessa, her newly discovered sister Mischa, and her four gorgeous best friends, are all on their way to Romania. They have to escape the powerful dragon-hunters, and they have to learn more about the mysterious dragon-marked.This kicks off where Dragon Marked left us (clickee here for my review). Jessa is on the run from the dragon-hunters - the original quads, who are very old, and very powerful. In tow, she has pack and her sister, none of which would leave her side, even if there was a choice. [...]

    Umaiya ⚡A Far Off Memory⚡
Holy Shit and Damnation!Well, that escalated fast. Hell!So a general, overview sorta review here.Real tackling at the end of the next book.Okay, so I would have probably finished this yesterday but see, Umaiya has a problem with anything other than absolute and total monogamy. Even the hint of things being otherwise, really puts me off.So it took me an entire day to convince myself to keep reading. That being said, No.The author did not play me. It was merely "suggested" Best part? Our h recoiled [...]

WOOOOOOAH. Remember how I said book one went a little like this?Wellok two was thattimes 10.We have our lovely Jessa, Mischa, the quads, and Louis up in a super secret base in Romania that hides dragon marked. There, Mischa falls in with the "fruit twins" who are old and bitchy and the opposite side of the coin to the Mischa-Jessa dynamic. All four are needed to bring the dragon king back. All the while, Some of the boys have been finding their true mates. That's a VERY basic gist. Let's get to [...]

    Danielle (Danniegurl)
CLIFF HANGER ENDINGThis was much better than the last book and slightly more interesting. They get sent to the sanctuary due to The Four almost capturing Jessa. They end up in Romania where the dragon King is supposed to eventually rise. Naturally this has everything to do with Jessa. The sanctuary is pretty cool has different zones and a food street which Jessa loves. Then she ends up in some place with a green sky with Braxton, and Braxton and Jessa have some chemistry that is starting to work [...]

Ugh.As a general rule, I avoid series that are not complete as there is nothing more irritating than having to re-read the books that you already read so you can understand the new one coming out. I read the first in this series and enjoyed it so much that I promptly preordered this one as soon as I could. Now though, I am stuck waiting again. This was as good as the first and I have truly enjoyed it so I guess that I am just going to have to wait for the next book. Hopefully the author will be [...]

I want it sooooo bad. Jonesing for this book. The teasers are mouthwatering. Hurry pleaseUn freaking believable. This book is everything I hoped it would be. I'm going to recommend this series to anyone who will listen. Great read. B. Forever.

3.5 starsPROS- I love the bond between the brothers and Jess. It makes you wish you had that. - the action was fun. This book had more fights and adventures than the first book. - finally got some sexual content but definitely would have liked more steamy scenes. - loved Braxton's POV at the end. I hope book 3 has this. I always like reading both male and female POVs. CONS- book would have easily gotten a four star but it seemed to drag a little. It was a little longer than it needed to be. - Je [...]

My emotions are still on the rollercoaster ride that was Dragon Mystics. What a phenomenal continuation of Dragon Marked! So many new revelations in this one. The romance. The betrayal. The new worlds. The romance. The action. The romance. This book was HOT, but the romance didn't take away from the storyline at all. On the contrary, it was necessary to the suspense of it. Now, forgive me for the short review, but I must start Dragon Mated IMMEDIATELY!

Okay, so the first thing that I am going to say is, I read this book in one go and finished at 0129 hrs last night.Second thing I am going to say is, WOW!This book’s beginning was a lot like one of my favorite books King Cave with all the hidden sanctuary made by a couple people from different sup races come together and a golden wall to protect it from detection-hence the 4.5 and not a 5*-but all of my doubts dissipated as soon as I saw the inside of the sanctuary with all its desert, cliff, [...]

This must have been written by a drunken 13 years old with some development issues.

This is definitely one of those books that made me wonder if I was reading something different than everyone else. It got excellent reviews, but for me, the book hovered between a 3 and a 3.5. When I read Dragon Marked, I spent a lot of the book waiting for something to happen. Dragon Mystics had a lot of action, and there was always something happening, but this time, it was the characters rubbed me the wrong way. Plot:At the ending of Dragon Marked, Louis helps Jessa and Braxton escape from th [...]

Love it!! The second installment of the Supernatural Prison series, Dragon Mystics continues the epic and intense saga of Jessa Lebron and her quadruplet best friends and pack mates. Early warning, there is 18+ content in this novel. Anyway, in this novel, Jessa and her pack are fleeing from The Four and are trying to prevent and ancient prophecy about the evil Dragon King rising again to concur the supernatural world from coming into place. I loved this novel as much as I did the first one. The [...]

2% DNF - I was trying to remember why I had taken so long to read the sequel since the premise sounded so good. I was lazy to reread the first book so I thought, yolo lets wing it and hope my memory catches up. And wow! Guess what! It did and I remember exactly three pages from reading this again, why I didn't pick up the second right away.Let me quote the passage that instantly made me close my kindle: "Judging by my clothes, I’d already lost weight with the last few stressful weeks, and I wa [...]

It should have been better. I'm disappointed with the ending, but time away from Braxton may be a good thing for Jessa, even if Larkspur kidnapped her to spend time with her. Because she's a dual shifter, she will having more than one mate option. I also think Misha had to be drugged or blackmailed. Her actions were odd considering she had distanced herself from the sirens. I wonder if she will be saved. Louis is great. He's a steady influence for Jessa. I hope he doesn't turn out to be evil. Wh [...]

Omg this book is full of the unexpected! I was so happy to get this book and it was very satisfying in some areas. But unfulfilling in other areas because I just need need need to know what happens to Jessa and the Compasses. I would rant on and on about my thoughts / questions and feelings about this book but I don't trust myself not to spoil it for you. So I will say I love this series and every book Jaymin Eve puts out is easily one of the best books I've read. It instantly goes in the favori [...]

Loved the first one, this one felt flat. The characters were very one-dimensional, which didn't bother me as much in the first book because there was a lot of action and plot going on, but this book had a lot more talking and it was a little grating. Besides the lack of character depth, the plot points were heavy-handed, the sister was too bratty, and I'm tired of constantly hearing about Jessa's love of food. The love interest was great and a huge redeeming part of the story. If I wasn't compar [...]

Jessa and her quads know that time is running out. The 1000 year mark of the dragon king is approaching. It is said that he will rise again. If he does, it will be the end of all supernaturals except those with the dragon mark. Jessa will do everything she can to prevent that, because she would lose everyone. I liked the first book, thought it a little YA for me, but with the cliff hanger ending, I had to know what happened. Now, I wish I could get my hands on the next one! This book was even be [...]

I was super into the first one, but this one sort of fizzled, even as a guilty pleasure. The writing needs some heavy handed editing, and the interesting character/ situation driven plot changed to just a pure romance novel basically and I found it really predictable. Not sure if I'll go for the third or not.

2.5 starsAfter reading dragon marked I wasn’t that motivated to read the second book but I decided to just go for it and get it over with. Despite the fact that there was nothing that really bothered me that much about this book there has been this feeling of not connecting with the characters. Sure, I’m interested in what happens next but I’m not that invested.

Hell yeah Jaymin!Holy crap this series is phenomenal. I'm so amped for the next book that it may cause pain. Ok so book two picks up exactly where book one ended. With jessa misha the quads and grace on the way to the dragon sanctuary no spoilers but trust me some amazing things happen at that sanctuary.
