As I'm sitting down to write this review, I'm wondering where in the heck to start. I actually went into this book not expecting much and was blown away by it. :D This book will keep you on your toes. So saying that, let me now start off as I typically would. Heh. V-Card is this first book in the Sharing Spaces series by Alicia Michaels. I have never read a book by her before and I was pleasantly surprised. I will be reading the rest of this series! When I first started reading this book, I was s [...]

I enjoyed this story. It was light, fun and sweet. After reading some darker stories, this was very refreshing. I thought Jenn was a very likable character and unlike most female heroines, she didn't annoy me at all! There was also a twist in the story that I didn't see coming which surprised me, usually I can predict what will happen. My only complaint, if it's even a complaint is that the cover and title lead me to believe that the story was going to be "spicier" than it was but nonetheless, I [...]

This is a story about a young woman named Jennifer. She is 20 years old and has had the worst luck with the opposite sex, which is why she is still a virgen. Jennifer is determined to lose her chastity by her 21st birthday in only two months time, no matter what. In her search for the perfect candidate she will find herself in a love triangle of the sweetest kind. This was a refreshing and light summer read. Very well written with some adorable characters. If your looking for something sweet and [...]

I just finished V-card and I really liked it. Jenn is a 20 year old virgin. Not by choice mind you but some seriously funny accidents (not funny at the time I'm sure) have happened when she has tried to lose her "v-card" so now she has set upa timeline. It's two months to her birthday and she will lose it no matter what. She is now on a mission. Here comes Dain. He is rich and funny and someone that she really likes and they both enjoy each other's company. This causes tension with Luke her room [...]

Really fun book to read! I would give this book around 3.5 to 3.75 stars. I didn't have any main issue with the book, it just didn't wow me. The ending did feel a bit rushed. The main thing that bugged me about this book is because it is marketed like the book focuses on Jenn losing her virginity by 21 when it is a lot more than that. The synopsis actually threw me off because I am a feminist and it rubbed me the wrong way. I am glad I read this book, though it could have been just a smudge long [...]

I have read Alicia Michael's books before, but this is by far my favorite. This book is so funny, sweet, cute and fun, it's a must read for anyone looking for an entertaining, light read. The characters in this book are rich, and they brought me back to my college days, reminding me of some of some of my friends back then. The book made me laugh out loud, and when I finished it, it left me with a smile on my face. If I could give this book more stars, I would.Definitely pick this one up!!

Took me a bit to get into this story (I am thinking it was the prologue, so I basically just skimmed over it to get the basics of whats going on) So glad I did this instead of giving up and not reading this book. I couldnt put it down after starting it. Fantastic read. She finds love in unexpected places, and that all important v-card isn't just given to anyone during her deadline to lose it. Loved the friendships in the book, and how the friends stick together. Great quick read for a spring day [...]

V-Card by Alicia Michaels is quite a refreshing read, it was nice to take a step back from the dark romance fantasy world. I received an ARC through G the Book Diva Blog in exchange for review. This was my first Alicia Michaels reads and certainly will not be my last. This was a nice first stab at contemporary, and was sweet but spicy. I really enjoyed the virgin plot because it was well written and thought out with character development that clicked. 4 Delish Stars for a playful and refreshing [...]

This was a different but good book. I loved how it played out. It was funny and easy going. Kept me interested the entire time. Really liked the characters and the flow of the book. It was funny and lighthearted. Then threw you for a little bit of a serious moment. Just awesome. Really glad I read it. Might just look at brat as well

Let me start by saying the cover can be deceiving, this is a light easy reading read that was a contemporary with small twinge spice romance that you can get into reading it in one sitting Overall 3.5 star

"Как избавиться от девственности за 60 дней"Предсказуемо, простенько и наивно, но очень даже забавно местами - в стиле молодежных ром.ком. А главное - объем небольшой))

Didn't think I would like this, but it was kind of great.V-Card follows Jennifer, a 20-year old woman in college who still has her v-card intact, shall we say. She decides that she's gonna try and lose it before her 21st birthday. Which gives her two months or roughly 60 days. To help her friend Christian out, she agrees to be his fake girlfriend at a party his parents are hosting. At said party, Jennifer meets Dain, a rich attractive guy who appears to be into her. Soon, Jennifer and Dain are d [...]

I like to think im a big enough person to admit when I choose a book solely based on its cover. Ive stated so many times in these here eviews. V-card was one such book. I mean that and well Alicia Michaels has yet to let me down Spoiler alert She still hasnt. So I received the book from the author and began reading it the same day This people should be marked in history because this never happens. At twenty years old, Jennifer's still a virgin, though not necessarily by choice or for lack of trying. Determined to ditch that label by her twenty-first birthday, she's on the lookout for that special guy with whom to take the next step. Add in one hot guy who is more than interested, crazy roommates, and Luke, the friend who's acting differently around her, and the next couple of months are going to be an emotional roller coaster. The Verdict:/b> Wow. I picked up this book on a whim. The co [...]

I did a spotlight post on this book about a month ago. After reading the synopsis and being asked to do a review, I couldn’t say no. This was a new twist to the typical NA books I’ve read and I needed to know what was going on and how things panned out.Jennifer is an accident waiting to happen. From falling off of a dock into the water to getting a stapler to the rear end, the poor girl just can’t catch a break when it comes to the opposite sex. After several failed attempts at losing her [...]

Review forthcoming on a-reader-lives-a-thousand-liveI received a copy of V-Card in exchange for my review.Jenn is determined to lose her virginity before her 21st birthday, especially because it seems to just be bad luck that she hasn't yet managed. While helping out one of her roommates, Christian, by pretending to be his girlfriend at a function, Jenn meets Dain, who she thinks is wonderful and quickly starts dating. Originally the plan was just to have sex, but now faced with possibly gaining [...]

Review also posted on my blog reviewedthebook/2014V-Card was a real fun, feel-good book. The main character, Jennifer, heading towards her 21st birthday, is determined to lose her virginity beforehand. Not that she hasn’t had the chance to do so, just that things always go drastically wrong when the time comes. The moment the book started, Jenn’s story had me smiling and as you learn the missed opportunities she’s had to rid herself of her ‘V-Card’, Alicia Michaels provides plenty of m [...]

Could you imagine wanting to lose your virginity by your 21st birthday??? Even counting down the days knowing that you really need to find someone that would qualify to give it to. But, instead of finding one good candidate. two end up becoming known. This is exactly what happens to the main character in the book, Jennifer. Every attempt she has had to get rid of her V-Card has ended in a disaster and some of those stories are hilarious! How many bad things could honestly happen to one person??? [...]

The Good•Amazing characters•Light and fun•Quick ReadThe Bad•Pfft. Nothing! The Gif Alicia Michaels is one of my favorite small press/Indie authors, so as soon as I heard she had written a New Adult book I had to read it. I've struggled with New Adult books in the past, but I'm learning that the author really does set the tone for these books. Alicia Michaels did just that with V-Card. It's a very quick read, and I read it in one sitting without even realizing that's what I was doing. It w [...]

I had just come out of reading a somewhat dark love story so I needed a book to help lighten my mood. V-Card was that book for me. It's about a young College girl who wants to lose her um " V-Card" before her 21st birthday and she's on a mission to do just that. She wants to just get it over with because she doesn't want to feel like a young clumsy girl anymore and she thinks that losing it will help her feel more like a woman.I can totally relate to that. Us girls think that we need bigger brea [...]

Read full review HEREI bought this book on a Kindle deal a little while back, and on a whim decided to start it because it sounded so funny. And boy, funny it is!This book is told in a single POV, from Jenn’s POV, and Jenn’s voice is fun, funny and real. I really liked the writing, the prologue had me laughing so much that I was afraid I would wake someone.I really liked all the characters. Jenn and all her roommates, Kinsley, Luke, Christian and Chloe, are fun, different, but all awesome fr [...]

I received a gifted copy for an honest review.4 stars! This book is a light, funny story that was an enjoyable read. Jennifer is a 20-year-old junior in college. She lives with 4 roommates and they are all great friends and she is doing well in school. The one thing Jennifer would like to change is that she is turning 21 in 60 days and still has her V-Card. There have been a few opportunities to lose it during her high school and college days, but through some mishaps it just hasn't happened. Je [...]

When people are on a quest, they’re usually trying to find something. Jennifer, on the other hand, is trying to find someone to help her lose something. She calls it her V-Card. At almost 21, and after two failed attempts that led to the emergency room, Jenn is determined. She’ll just find a guy and get it over with. She’s a sophomore for crying out loud! But the guy she lands is not just any guy. Dain is charming, gallant, patient and drop-dead gorgeous. And he wants her like crazy. Jenn [...]
