This was the 6 box set i got online for 99 cents. It was an ok read. I liked finding out more about the Amish people and their religion. There were lots of typo errors in the books, repeating of the same paragraph and other errors. I didn't like how at the beginning of each new book she repeated pages of text from the first book. I guess it would help a reader that had not read a previous book. I felt she could have been a little more creative with that. Definitely an easy read.

Some reviews are saying this is a box set of books on , but what I read was a short story, only about 50 pages long. Was it a precursor to the box set? I have no idea. However, I do know that I won't be reading the box set, even if it is unrelated. This short story was atrocious. Waaayyyy too much was crammed into the story. It also contained numerous grammatical errors (especially punctuation), terrible word choices, and overall poor writing. There were approximately 10 different relationship pr [...]

This author obviously didn't do her research into the life of the Amish.

Chasing Heaven is an eBook written by Becca Fisher. The author described her characters in great detail and also showed the personality differences between the four Sisters. This books starts out with the marriage of Hannah, the youngest of the four sisters, which has everyone wondering just how Hannah was the first to marry. Even William , the only brother, is scratching his head trying to figure it out. You will learn the story of an arranged marriage, does it actually happen? Which one of the [...]

REVIEWThis book was full of Typos, repeating paragraphs and some other errors. I'm not so sure she did much research into the Amish and their ways and she was using pages from previous books as filler. I also found the language in this book and some other books of this author's not very authentic. Amish, from what I've read don't use much teen slang, like OMG. I found the descriptions of the clothing, the kitchens and other things just didn't appear as the descriptions and details that I've gott [...]

I would have rated this book higher if not for the repetition. While books in a series usually have a short recap or explanations to clarify the characters' relationships to readers who have not read the earlier books, this series has repeated pages and complete dialogues. It was like repeated deja vu. Some of the dialogue was awkward and the use of some slang expressions seemed out of place. The entire series was 177 pages, making it more like a collection of short stories. I received this book [...]

This is the first story in a 6 box set. It gets you acquainted with the Bieler family. I like to read other reviews and compare my thoughts with others. I found very few typos in this first story and no repeating sentences or paragraphs. I cannot attest to what the other books in the set are like. It could have been a little more creative in the storyline but is definitely an easy, fast read.

OK, I'm not a writer, but I could have done better on this one. Gives a brief idea about several characters, but nothing in depth. With only a few pages, I understand it needs brevity, but some development would be better.

Way too fragmentedNot very Amish. Too many disconnected thoughts. Hard to follow. I didn't feel much research was done went on the book.

Saw a few typing errors. Light reading.

I think I should have been born Amish! Good, quick read about family relations.
