This was a fast paced page turner, in fact it kept me up a few nights just to see what was going to happen next. For those who like a good spy vs. spy thriller this is the book for you. I was somewhat disturbed by the fact that several of the scenarios used in the book are coming oh so close to today's reality. Thanks to my friend David, with who I have a great book exchange going!

I felt the theme and story line were exceptional. It illustrates a story regarding the age old theme "who is keeping the keepers themselves." Robbie is a character in his own right. Drawn between what is right and what is ordered. He finds solutions where he can satisfy both. It is suspenseful and causes pause for thoughts. I really liked it.

I have liked all of David's books so far some more than others but all enjoyable. He can be descriptive but not overly so. He manages a certain degree of intrigue and surprises that's not always unguessable but good nonetheless. I recommend this book for sure.

hmm The book is ok. It is trying to hard to create a jack reacher, Jason Bourne and the likes. It isn't working. The hero comes across as a sensitive man, not my typecast for a best killer in the world. Read if you have nothing to do.

A great book and very interesting plot line I can't wait for his next book

Was more anxious to finish this one----somewhat forced at times and a bit over descriptiveng on to another Baldacci for further comparison.

A good who done it. Somewhat predictable in the end.

    Weaver "Andy"
    Very enjoyable read

My first real disappointment from Baldacci. OK story line. Forced, weak and tedious dialogue. It's as if this author has taken his eye off the ball and hacked one out for the money. STRIKE ONE!

I did the audiobook. It was action packed. It was another book with Will Robie and a new CIA agent and Agent Vance. I would recommend it.

Another EXCELLENT David Baldacci novel - I love following all of his series.

    Ed Kinlock
    Not Baldacci's best effort.

    Jasmin Bejerano
    Another good read by DB.
