I really enjoyed this book. I feel like it could have been longer with a little more detail, but really don't we all want books we enjoy to go a little longer?? I read this on my kindle in about a day and I immediately searched for the second in the Gifted Series not realizing how new this book was.I can say it was a tad predictable towards the end and a couple things felt like they were just. pushed in last minute. I'm rounding up on this one because I enjoyed the characters and the general concept. My main issues were that I felt like there was maybe a bit too much going on and a lot of the backstory and motivations behind things were missing. An awful lot of crazy gets thrown around very quickly and everyone seems to take it a bit too much in stride. In spite of the flaws though I think it's a story that a lot of people will enjoy and I would be willing to check out future books to see what develops.
