So, how should I start this. I loved Savor. LOVED! It is probably my favorite book by Kate Evangelista. Dakota, I love from the start. She has been a favorite of mine. And Luka oh my Luka! I love him with all my heart. So I was waiting for this for a VERY LONG TIME. But sadly, it didn't live up to my expectations. I'm sad by this because not only do I love Dakota and Luka. I adore Kate. But I have to be honest that I didn't like this one as much as I wanted to.Here's my explanation:Savor was mor [...]

I wanted to like this book, I really did. I LOVED Savor and couldn't wait to get my little hands on Relish but the book just did not live up to my expectations for it. The ending. Holy hell what the crap was that ending about? It was unexpected, unrealistic, rushed and just poorly explained and integrated. It left too many ends untied. I felt like I was reading a different book than the one I started and I wasn't impressed about it. But it wasn't just the ending. Dakota frustrated the crap out o [...]

Noooo. It already ends! T.T I honestly did not expect the twist to be like that. I love how I can easily imagine the world building for this book. But I struggles a bit at the last part where all the things started to make sense. I can't even tell you more since I might spoil it for some of you who haven't read the book yet. I'm a bit sad about that part cause hello, Vicious?! Rock band and all that?! But definitely loved this series. :)

What on Earth did I just read?As soon as I hit the climax, I decided that Relish is such a huge disappointment to me. The book was going so well, but once the revelations hit. . went downhill, and fast. Relish didn’t seem like a paranormal book at all until the climax, which is very bad, considering that this book is a paranormal one—or supposedly, anyway.I like Kate Evangelista’s writing style—it’s solid, it’s entertaining, it’s good. Relish, though, needs to be polished. The wor [...]

Luka and Dakota Together At LastI have been waiting for this book forever. You have to read Savor first, so get it now. This story picks up where that one leaves off; after Luka was an idiot. Dakota tried to move on, but that's hard to do when you love a guy like Luka. Luckily for us, he couldn't move on either. That's the first half of the story. Kate likes to give her readers a surprise in her stories, which I forgot about. Don't read the last chapter first, like me, or you'll spoil it. If you [...]

see full review @ Katie's CornerWell… I guess I should start, but I do not even know how! Especially if I even forgot to put my opening sentence here. First impression of the book without opening it: wow, that cover is fantastic! Second impression while reading: Freaking hell! Can it get more intense? And my last impression after finishing: what the hell did just happen? How did we get from here to there? And well I was thinking about it so much that I couldn’t fall asleep, though I did do s [...]

2 starsbut keep  in mind 3 things:One, I didn't read the synopsiswell okay I probably skimmed it, but forgot all about it when I actually started this oneI had no idea what I was getting in to. Two, I didn't read the first book in this series. Not sure if this would've effected anything because of three, the whole  book ( well 99% of it) is from the heroine's povis is a personal gripe of mineading is  my escape of choice.I've said this before and I'll say it againI spend far too much time ir [...]

Whoever has read Taste, understands why I loved Luka so much; and why I thought, somehow, Savor would be tied to that storyline. Sure, the plot was seemingly different, but there were some hints there that suggested that the author would manage to tie it into Taste. Even while reading Relish, I really believed Dakota would be some powerful witch, and a ritual had gone wrong landing her without her memories, and it all came back to Luka, and the others' pasts as members of the Zhamvy royal family [...]

I'm really excited to read this book because the end of Savor was a real cliffhanger. I want to know Dakota's past already. The first parts of the book was a bit off for me because of the repetitive dreams of running and rituals which I know are essential to the plot, but still. The dreams of Dakota about Luka was really fun though. I kinda had a hint that it really was him. I love the part when Luka gets jealous and when he finally confessed his feelings I was having butterflies in my stomach t [...]

Perfect. I could feel her anguish and indecision and pure despondency. My heart ached for Dakota. This book completed her journey in a way I did not see coming, and I am so glad for that. So many books are predictable and unworthy of being read (or even told) This is not one of those. READ THIS SERIES. You will not regret it.

RelishRelish book 2 of A Vicious Feast continuation of Savor As the story continues, Dakota will discover things that will definitely change her life and everything she knew. Many things will be revealed, the reason behind her dreams and who she really is. The way the story ended is good. Loved it can't wait to see what will happen next to Vicious Feast!
