At the tender age of four, Deb Stover declared her candidacy to become the first female President of the United States She took a detour to play Lois Lane along the way, and penned her first Letter to The Editor at age eleven The Lois Lane gig suited her well, so she stuck with it for a while, but she couldn t bring herself to blow Clark Kent s cover for the Big Story She actually fell in love with and married her own real American Hero, so Superman was free to continue fighting for justice seriously, what is Clark doing about the dearth of phone booths these days.Considering her extensive personal experience with real heroes Dad, Superman, Husband , redirecting her passion for writing from journalism to Romance Novels seemed a natural progression Since publication of Shades of Rose in 1995, she has received dozens of awards for her work, which includes over twenty titles in a variety of languages and formats.A native of Wichita, Kansas, Deb and her family have lived in five states, but after her Hero Husband s death, she recently made the decision to follow the Yellow Brick Road back to be near her Hero Dad in Kansas After all there s no place like home Of course, there s still the unfinished matter of her presidential campaign, but first she has many stories left to tell. For information, please visit debstover.

200 pages before the first sex scene. "Womanhood" was referenced unironically. I only finished it to make sure the main character wasn't going to wake up from a dream or coma or something. One star for awesome cover art and for time travel.

    Paranormal Romance
Abandoned in the woods by her asshole boyfriend, the heroine takes shelter in an abandoned saloon only to be sucked into a picture of an old time bar singer. She's immediately mistaken for being this woman, minus the huge breasts. As she tries to tell them she's not this woman, she's kidnapped by a rival saloon by the hero. He's tortured by the decision he makes to take the job as he considers it unmoral and wrong but he needs the money to fulfill a promise to his dead wife to take his son back [...]

I'm so happy to be able to read Good books and find excellent writers to put stories like this one out there. This book got me from page one and did not let go till the final word. It has all the emotions, humor, love, tenderness, lots of happiness and a little sadness plus very sexy, hot sex! There will not be a woman that lays hands on this that will not be jealous of Jackie. Cole is one hot, sizzling, hunk of a man and I'm more than jealous. I loved the story and did not feel it was predictab [...]

Got this free from . The cover on looked like a trade paperback, but then I saw here on the original(?) cover looks like it was really published as a pocket paperback romance. But I was enough into the book that I guess I wanted to see what happened, if she would stay or go. It was okay.

I read another book by this author some time ago, way before I had a kindle I'm fairly certain. This book was good, and plausible. Time travel books I always find interesting. especially love how the character that traveled through time copes with their sudden change in situation. :)

    Vicki
Interesting time travel book. current to Gold Rush times what a change to end up in a deserted bar and go back in time. Interesting the people she comes across and links to people in her future.

I couldn't finish, the book had a weepy woman who through several chapters lamented about poor choices. She time travelled, had the vocabulary that indicates foul language is an every day event. She couldn't complete a dialog without cussing or being snippy. So I stopped the b9ok.

It was a time travel so I placed it on the ad shelf but this was not much science. More like paranormal. Set in old west USA. Repetitive plot and narrative. Found it difficult to believe in the characters too.

3.5/5.0A well written story about a woman lost in the haze of time, and a man who falls in love with her. Full review in March 2013 issue of InD'tale Magazine.

I think this is a decent book for a time travel story. Not completely predictable she Lolita? I liked the characters. This is a pretty light read without much drama. The romance took awhile to develop but the book still entertained me. Not bad for a free book.

I used to be an avid reader of romance novels. I got this free on Kindle. Glad I didn't have to pay for it. BLECH. If this is what the romance genre is like now, I'll stick to other things.

    Very Light Reading

    Ellen
A quick read, without serious depth. The storyline is captivating enough to make it hard to put down. In the end, which choice will she make?

    Jayne
Had to quit reading this book. It was so dumb that I felt stupid for reading past the third chapter.

The time travel method was okay. The rest? Cliched, cliched, cliched. Oh well, at least it was free.

    Pam
Light easy to read time travel romance.

    Tess Nancarrow
I enjoyed it but the ending was a bit rushed and too easily resolved. It was entertaining though as long as you are willing to suspend disbelief!

    Kimberlie
I just couldn't get into it. Stopped at Ch 2. The writing style was fine, but when the heroine couldn't figure out her time travel wasn't a joke I got bored with her.

    Gina
This was a free amazon book. It was a typical cheesy romance.

    Heather
Got this as a freebie from and I can't say how much I disliked this book. It was soooo repetitive.

    Mary
Not a time travel reader usually, so I don't know what drew me to this book. However, it was a good quick read!
