Daniel and his buddy Nick are just out for a good time. The want to enjoy the game and have fun, but things go terribly wrong. After the game, people spill out into the streets and things get out of hand quickly. First it's an overturned car, then a few broken windows, soon it's an all-out riot. Daniel is trying to stay out of it, but he won't leave without Nick who seems to lose all sense.Written after the riots in Vancouver after the Stanley Cup playoffs, Tullson writes a story about teens in [...]

Pretty good story about two friends caught up in riot (Vancouver saw a huge riot like this a few years ago after their team lost a tournament game, many of the particpants were captured on cellphone cameras, pics posted on social media). Fun & games, and then people start getting hurt, some more than others, a lot of collateral damage happens, and the pictures go public.

Riot Act started off okay, but then picked up once the riot happened. The riot portion of this book was intense and action-packed. Then ending was lacking closure, but all in all this was an entertaining read and one I'd recommend.
